摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device having a packaging structure of a circuit board which is advantageous for the thickness reduction of a module and facilitates the repair of the circuit board and the remounting of a driving IC chip by arranging the driving circuit board approximately perpendicularly to the display surface of a liquid crystal display panel. SOLUTION: The drain side flexible circuit board FPC 2 connected to the end side of the liquid crystal display panel PNL is arranged approximately perpendicularly to the display surface of the liquid crystal display panel PNL. Namely, the panel consists of the structure in which the circuit board FPC 2 is eliminated from between the liquid crystal display panel PNL and a light guide plate and the thickness of the multilayered circuit board FPC 2 turned back and superposed plural times is not the constituent element of the module thickness. The thickness reduction of the module is made possible. Since the bending angle of the circuit board FPC 2 to the connections to the liquid crystal display panel PNL is halved, the stress on the compression bonding part of the circuit board FPC 2 and the liquid crystal display panel PNL is reduced and the reliability of the compression bonding part is improved.</p>
