PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer accurate management information in response to an inquiry of management information from a remote terminal even in the case that the image forming device is in a power saving state by a power saving function without reducing performance of the entire system. SOLUTION: In the case that management information is inquired from a service center 3 via a telephone line 4 at application of power to the image forming device 2, a management information processing unit 1 acquires the management information from the image forming device 2 and transmits the management information to the service center 3 via the telephone line 4. In the case that the image forming device 2 is set to the power save mode, the management information processing unit 1 acquires and stores the management information from the image forming device 2 and in the case that collation of the management information comes from the service center 3 while the image forming device 2 is set to the power saving mode afterward, the management information processing unit 1 sends the stored management information to the service center 3 via the telephone line 4. |
