The invention relates to an inside lighting circuit for a vehicle, comprising a timer for time-delayed disconnection of lights, wherein a timed light is generally turned off when the ignition is activated. Hitherto, the battery tended to become discharged through a lack of attention. The door contacts used were expensive. There was no simple global solution to offset drawbacks. The invention provides a simple, comprehensive and inexpensive solution. Previously used timers for delayed disconnection of inside lighting are now triggered by means of a passive infrared movement detector. The previously used monitoring switch is replaced by a touch-button with a retaining member. Said retaining member enables the effect of the ignition on the time-delayed inside light as described in the generic part of the invention to be inverted at will. When the ignition is turned off or on, the retaining member is suppressed and the elapsed timer sets back the retaining member and locks it. The invention can be used in all types of motor vehicles. |
