Stable biosensor, e.g. for glucose determination

摘要

Biosensor consists of a membrane-covered transducer and a immobilised biological component (BC). The novel features are that: (i) preparation of the gas-permeable membrane (GPM) on the transducer and its modification by incorporation of functional groups are carried out in a single stage; and (ii) immobilisation between the GPM of the transducer and BC is carried out by covalent bonds via the functional groups incorporated in the membrane.
