PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate entwining of an electric cable around an equipment according to repeated turnings of a turntable by disposing a driving means transmitting rotational force to a chuck table positioned by turning of the turntable on the lower part of a grinding area. SOLUTION: By rotation of a driving motor 22, a turntable 10 performs an index turning of 90 deg. or 180 deg. and a chuck table 12 is positioned in a grinding area or an object to be worked carry-out and carry-in area. The chuck table 12 is turned via clutch plates 30, 31 to be clutch means by rotation of an electric motor 36 of a driving means provided on the side of a housing body. Therefore, the wiring of an electric cable from the side of the housing body to the side of the turntable 10 is unnecessitated and entwining of the electric cable around a surrounding equipment is eliminated accompanied with the reciprocal rotation of the turntable. |
