PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy high printing quality, low power consumption, prolongation of the lives of parts and securement of safety by making warm air generated in a housing by a heat source circulate along in the carrying direction of recording material. SOLUTION: A safety device is constituted of the housing 3; a heater 4 being the heat source; an air blower 5, a separator 6 and a shutter which constitute a warm air circulation means; and a base 8. The inside of the housing 3 is divided to the heater 4 side and the recording material (paper) 1 side by the separator 6, and air heated by the heater 4 is sent by the air blower 5, blows against the paper 1 carried on the base 8 from a slit on the upstream side of the separator 6, melts the toner 2 on the paper 1, and then circulates to the heater 4 side from the slit on the downstream side of the separator 6. The shutter 7 producing a labyrinth effect is provided at the exit part of the housing 3 in order to make the warmed air hardly go out to the outside. |
