PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce smell generated immediately after starting operation by a method wherein an air guiding plate is set at a deodorizing angle during a period of time, in which an operating time counting means counts a predetermined period of time. SOLUTION: When the signal of starting an air conditioner is inputted from an operation panel 30, the CPU 21 of a microcomputer 20 starts a timer 23 and the counting of the operating time of the air conditioner is started. Louver actuators 25, such as a motor and the like, are rotated simultaneously with the starting of the timer 23 to turn a louver about the axis thereof and set a deodorizing angle, slanted upward from the horizontal direction. According to this setting, air, blown out of an air outlet port, flows upward and is sucked again into the air conditioner through slits on the front surface of the same whereby a short-circuit is formed. According to this method, smell, generated immediately after starting the operation, can be reduced whereby comfortable air conditioning can be effected. |
