PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve efficient and sure masking, thereby achieving formation of an electrode in a predetermined region, in a method for forming an electrode of an electronic component in which the surface of the electronic component is masked except a region in which the electrode is to be formed and dry plating is carried out in that state, thereby forming the electrode in the region in which the electrode is to be formed. SOLUTION: A plurality of electronic components 11 are arranged in a holder 13 in a state wherein a region 12 in which an electrode is to be formed is exposed, and a mixture of a powder material16 and a liquid is applied onto the surfaces of the electronic components 11, so that the respective gaps 14, 15 between the electronic components 11 and between the electronic component 11 and the holder 13 are also filled by the mixture, and after the liquid is evaporated, the powder material 16 on the region 12, in which the electrode is to be formed, is removed and dry plating is carried out in this state in the region 12 in which the electrode is to be formed. |
