<p>The installation has several pivoted machine chassis (6-9) supported on wheels running on rails (13) and partly on wheels not connected to the rails. A system (43) is used for placing new sleepers (44). A reception system (30) is used for lifting old sleepers (32) from the track. Both systems extend longitudinally. A ballast clearing system (15) is located between them which receives and evacuates old ballast. The ballast clearing system has a riddling installation (5) with a rubble conveyor (18). A ballast ejection system (23) ejects cleaned ballast onto the track (4). Above the riddling installation, associated with a first machine chassis (6), is a sleeper transport system (36). A second neighbouring machine chassis (7) has two sleeper transport systems (36,45) for the simultaneous transport of old and new sleepers (32,44). The rubble conveyor (18) is on a third machine chassis (8).</p> |
