PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make ink uniform in every recording element of supplied liquid and to check the fluctuation of liquid discharging conditions by forming a supply part to be able to supply liquid in recording elements for one liquid receiving part corresponding to the recording elements. SOLUTION: One kind of ink, by forming liquid supply ports 2 in one liquid absorption container 1, the ink is to be supplied in common ink supply conditions, and the ink discharge condition in two recording heads can be equalized stably. Therefore, the dispersion of ink discharge in high speed printing is eliminated to attain high quality printing. Besides, a liquid holding member 3 is placed in a liquid receiving part 20, liquid (ink) is stored and held in the part 20 by the member 3, and negative pressure to a recording element (recording head) can be generated. A continuous porous member such as polyurethane foam and a fibrous material can be used as the member 3. |
