PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify physical distribution of slabs, and improve production efficiency in a flaw elimination facility. SOLUTION: A slab 24 cast and cut in a continuous casting facility 22 is transferred by a carrier crane 30 to a carrier line 32 or a descaling line 31. A carrier carriage 33 is provided on the carrier line 32, and the transferred slab 24 is carried to a grinding device 40 in a grinding line 25, where grinding for flaw elimination is performed. On the carrier line 32, delivering of the slab 24 is possible also between a roller table 49 on the downstream side of the descaling line 31 and a surface inspection device 26. |
