A joining and thermal block profile (3) interposed by slipping between aluminium profiles (1,2), used for making windows, door or french window frames has a monolithic shape, made of thermoplastic, consisting of two bars (4,5) with tenons (8) at their ends that slip into complementary slots (9) in the aluminium profiles. The bars (4,5) are joined by means (6,7) that allow a small variation in the distance between the axes of the tenons (8) of the bars on each side of the profile.
