PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently disperse use of a network system about fault diagnosis of vehicle electronic equipment and to shorten the overall time, needed for the fault diagnosis. SOLUTION: Vehicle communication controllers 1 to 3 mutually connect plural network systems which connect vehicle electronic equipment 4 to 6. The controllers 1 to 3 are provided with a function which receives a fault diagnosis start command from a fault diagnosis tester 8 which is connected to one network system and performs fault diagnosis on each electronic equipment 5 and 6 on the other network systems and a function which stores the result of fault diagnosis about each electronic equipment 5 and 6 and timely sends it to the tester 8. During the fault diagnosis, each network system operates independently, and the efficiency of the network systems is devised.
