An acoustic baffle apparatus (28) is provided for sealing a cavity (22) of a vehicle body. The apparatus includes a heat expandable sealing material (32), a support element (30), and a baffled drain assembly (34) secured to the element (30). The assembly has a flange at upper end that directs the sealing material away from the end of the assembly.
