<p>A brake apparatus (1) includes a brake arm (12b), a brake pad coupling component (17b) disposed on the brake arm (12b) for receiving a brake resistive force from contact between the brake pad (60b) and a wheel rim (5a), and a control element coupling component(24) coupled to the brake arm (12b) for receiving a brake control force from a control element (10).
