An erasing liquid pen which comprises a fitting construction for fitting a tip end (11) of a barrel (1) to a fitting portion (22) of a neck member (2), the fitting construction being such that when an annular convex portion (1b) provided on a second fitting portion (11b) and an annular concave groove (2b) provided on an outer shell portion (22a) are engaged with each other, press-fit in a diametrical direction is effected between a first fitting portion (11a) and an inner cylindrical portion (22b) and between the second fitting portion (11b) and an annular bead (2a) provided on the outer shell portion (22a), and an abutting bead (2c) provided on a step portion (22c) is pressure contacted with a tip end surface (1a) of the first fitting portion. Also, a ball holder (7) is constructed such that a connection step between a ball house (7b) and a communication hole (7d) on the ball holder (7) is made small, a tip end edge of the ball holder is rounded and a slitted groove (2g) is provided in a support (2f), which is provided on the neck member to support a coil spring (8). Further, a cap (5) adapted to be put on a neck portion (222) of a barrel body E is provided at its side surface with an operating body (9) to permit the operating body to abut against an inclined portion (2h) of the neck portion.
