<p>The device includes an asymmetric coupler (10) which has an insulating substrate (12) on which first and second different width parallel conductors (16,18) are deposited. A slope compensating filter (50) and first and second identical impedance networks (44,54) are also included. Each impedance network comprises an inductance (46,56) and a series resistance (48,58). The first conductor receives an input radio signal (SD:SR) and the second conductor has a first end adjacent the output (22) of the first conductor which is connected to the first impedance network (44). The second end of the second conductor is adjacent to the first conductor input and is connected to the slope compensating filter. The second impedance network is connected to the output of the slope compensating filter and delivers a signal (MD;MR) which represents the measured power of the radio signal. In the asymmetric coupler, the width of the first conductor is less than the width of the first. The filter is formed as a double T bridge.</p> |
