The tool, consisting of a shaft (1) and an insertion end (2), has axially closed longitudinal grooves (4, 5) which are open towards the rear end (3) and which are partially provided with a profiling (7) on the groove base (6). The profiling (7) has stop surfaces (9) acting essentially in the axial direction and it is formed by indentations (8), in which, for example, a lubricant can be arranged. When placing the tool in a receptacle of a drive device, dirt can be scraped off on the stop surfaces (9) and deposited in the indentations (8). In the manufacture of the longitudinal grooves (4, 5), the profiling (7) on the groove base (6) prevents an undesired change in length of the insertion end (2) by means of segments rolling off on the insertion end (2) in the axial direction, and it allows a sharp-edged rolling of the profile. …<IMAGE>… |
