PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a soil conditioner which is easy to disperse and has high persistence of the effect by coating a biodegradable plastic with an antibacterial agent and/or a mildewproofing agent and obtain an artificial soil from the soil conditioner. SOLUTION: This soil conditioner is obtained by coating a biodegradable plastic with an antibacterial agent and/or a mildewproofing agent. The biodegradable plastic preferably has a grain diameter of 0.5-30mm. It is suitable to use, e.g. an injection molding or extrusion technique to form grains of the biodegradable plastic. For example, the granular biodegradable plastic is coated with a dispersion of an antibacterial agent, etc., in a solvent. An artificial soil is formed from the soil conditioner alone. |
