PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable hot air to be agitated without being accumulated at an indoor upper part by a method wherein air not heat exchanged is fed out to an upper position or hot air during heating operation by a method wherein an upper part of a main body is provided with an auxiliary blowing-out port and an auxiliary air blowing fan without making a large-sized main body. SOLUTION: This air conditioner is comprised of a heat exchanger 3 and a blower fan 4 set in an air passage connecting suction ports 2 arranged at a central part of a front surface and an upper surface of a main body 1, an auxiliary blowing-out port 9b arranged at an upper part of the front surface of the main body, an auxiliary air passage connecting the auxiliary blowing-out port to a part of the suction port at the upper surface and an auxiliary air blowing fan 10 arranged at the auxiliary air passage. During a heating operation, air sucked through the suction port is heat exchanged by the heat exchanger, fed out of the blowing-out port with the air blower fan and in turn the air sucked from a part of the suction port at the upper surface is fed out of the auxiliary blowing-out port by the auxiliary air blower fan. |
