PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To culture a plant without causing problem of stop of growth and withering, etc., by arranging a plant having soil and grown by soil culture at upper position than the water surface and growing the plant while supplying water to the plant having soil and stretching and arriving newly grown roots toward water surface to transfer the plant to hydroponics. SOLUTION: A plant having soil and grown in a root pot is housed in a holding vessel 3 installed at the upper position than water surface together with the root pot and grown while supplying water to the plant and newly grown root is stretched and arrived toward the water surface to transfer the plant to hydroponics and then, the plant is cultured by hydroponics. Furthermore, culture of the plant is preferably carried out by using a culturing device for the plant having a vessel 1 for housing water or a culture solution 7, a holding vessel 3 installed in the opening on upper face of the vessel 1 and capable of holding a root of the plant having soil and forming clearances through which roots of the plant having soil is passed, an air pump 4 for water or the culture solution 7 and an aerator connected to the air pump 4 and equipped with an air diffuser 6 for blowing out air under water surface. |
