PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct a mononuclear cell separation useful for bone marrow transplantation therapy in such a way that a stock cell suspension such as of bone marrow cells or peripheral blood cells is passed through each specific 1st and 2nd catch means to make an erythrocyte-contg. fluid run out and a hematopoietic stem cell reservoir is branched after the outlet of the 1st catch means to easily and selectively concentrate the hematopoietic stem cells in the closed system at low cost in a short processing time. SOLUTION: A reserving means 1 for a stock cell suspension, a 1st catch means 2 to catch granulocytes and monocytes, a 2nd catch means 3 to catch hematopoietic stem cells but pass erythrocytes, and a reserving means 4 for discharged erythrocyte-contg. fluid, are mutually connected in series in this order to constitute a closed circuit. A hematopoietic stem cell reservoir 5 is branched from a midway point between the outlet of the 1st catch means 2 and the reserving means 4 to separate mononuclear cells. |
