<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the intrusion of a liquid into a pivot chamber, and also to effectively damp vibration, in a bearing device having a tilt mechanism provided with a pivot chamber in the bearing pad for supporting a rotating body, by providing a seal member for preventing the intrusion of a liquid inside a pump into the pivot chamber. SOLUTION: In a bearing device having a tilt mechanism, a plurality of fixing members 10 are arranged inside a ring-shaped bearing casing 1 and a bearing pad 20 that has been housed inside the fixing members 10 is slidably in contact with the journal 31 of a pump shaft 30. The bearing casing 1 is made up of a body 2, a side plate 3, and an inner ring 4, and these are sealed by O-rings 8. In the inner ring 4, five pivot chamber holes 5 are formed, and a pivot chamber R is defined by the pivot chamber hole 5, the pivot part 11 of the fixing member 10, and the body 2; and the pivot part 11 is provided with an O-ring 13 as a seal member for sealing the gap between the pivot chamber and the pivot part.</p> |
