PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To match the processings of the variable power and resolution conversion or the like of an image and an image processing following them. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a sub-scanning thinning circuit 102 for inputting image data for respective lines and outputting the image data along with identification signals for indicating whether or not the line is valid corresponding to a line thinning rate, line memories 103-106 for fetching the image data of the line defined as valid by the identification signals from the sub-scanning thinning circuit 102 and an arithmetic circuit 107 for performing a filter processing to the fetched image data. |
