PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add vibrato which are not mechanical, but expressive by controlling the vibrato according to the state of a singing voice signal. SOLUTION: A pitch detection part 30, a loudness detection part 31, and a correlation detection part of a DSP 22 for a voice signal detect the pitch and loudness of the singing voice signal and variation of the sound. A vibrator signal generation part 45 of a vibrato signal generator 23 when inputting a trigger signal instructs a vibrato frequency determination part 41, a vibrato EG (time until maximum depth is reached) determination part 42, and a depth determination part 43 to determine parameters of a vibrato frequency, EG, and maximum depth, and reads in the determined parameters. The vibrato signal generation part 45 accesses a vibrato waveform memory 44 according to those parameters and reads waveform data out to generate a vibrato signal. This signal is inputted to a modulation part 50 of the DSP to impose modulation on the singing voice signal with the vibrato signal. |
