<p>A method of making a monolithic structure (100) for an optocoupler that provides improved linearity. The method includes forming an output signal photodiode (141, 142) and a feedback control signal photodiode (151, 152) on a single chip with an LED (190). The photodiodes (141, 142, 151, 152) are configured and positioned relative to the LED (190) to compensate for any non-uniformities in the light received from the LED (190).</p> |
