PURPOSE: To transfer a melt-transfer ink image receiving sheet obtaining an image having high recording density, excellent gradation reproducibility, dot reproducibility and color clarity. CONSTITUTION: The melt-transfer ink image receiving sheet comprises a sheet- like support, and a porous ink acceptance layer formed on one surface of the support and of a porous resin containing liquid film, wherein the mean pore diameter of the surface of the acceptance layer is in a range of 0.5 to 30μm, and the optical contact ratio when the acceptance layer is pressurized by 2kg/cm<2> is in a range of 6 to 65%. |
