PURPOSE: To display a travel locus accurately by storing an extent of travel locus data at a short traveling distant only at such an area where a road gets complicated by a narrow space. CONSTITUTION: A locus control register part 19 writes its own car position in a travel locus memory 20 at each first travel distance and stores the travel locus, while a travel locus plotting part 21 superposes a travel locus on a map, displaying it on a display scope.
