<p>PURPOSE: To prevent buckling of a through-column even when strong oscillation of an earthquake is exerted by a method wherein the whole or a part of the through-column forms a steel frame column. CONSTITUTION: The lower part of a steel frame column 1 continuous from a first story to a second story has a main body formed of a straight square pipe material 8 and orthogonal two-way joint members 9A, 9B, and 9C are welded to upper and lower ends and an intermediate. The joint members 9A and 9B for the upper end and the intermediate are formed in the shape of an up U-shape and support a girder 3 and a beam 2 made of wood. The joint member 9C for the lower end is formed in a down-U-shape and arranged in such a manner to be fitted in a wood foundation 4 from above and fixed through fastening by means of a bolt. An anchor bolt 11 protruded from a concrete foundation 10 is extended through the joint member 9A through the medium of the foundation 4 and fastened by means of a nut. Further, the joint member 90A for a brace 6 is protruded obliquely downward from the side of the joint member 9A at an upper end, and a joint part 90C for the brace 6 is protruded from the corner part between the joint member 9C and the pipe material 8.</p> |
