PURPOSE: To improve the washing effect of a water feed/drain pipe by forcibly feeding ozone into a water feed pipe to fill it with ozone while its concentration is controlled, opening a valve on the water feed side after a prescribed time to start the water feed, and increasing ozone pressure in the water feed pipe to distribute it into every nook and corner of the water feed pipe. CONSTITUTION: When washing a water feed pipe, first a valve on the water feed side is closed and a valve on the water drain side is opened to discharge water in the water feed pipe. Next, ozone in an ozonizer 5 is forcibly fed into the pipe to fill it with ozone gas while its concentration is controlled, and it is confirmed by an ozone monitor whether ozone reaches the termination of the pipe or not. Then, the valve on the water drain pipe is closed and ozone is further injected for several minutes to improve oxidation and sterilization of iron, bacteria and the like. After a prescribed time, the valve of the water feed side is opened to start the water feed and raise ozone pressure in the pipe. When iron, bacteria and the like are oxidized and decomposed, after the valve on the water drain side is opened to start regular water feed and drive out reddish water in the pipe, the pipe interior is washed with water. |
