<p>PURPOSE: To remove carbon dioxide gas from an indoor air automaticaly and efficiently without deteriorating an indoor airtightness by using a simple, compact and low-cost device. CONSTITUTION: This indoor carbon dioxide gas removing device consists of a pressurizing device 10 for sucking and pressurizing an air, a carbon dioxide gas adsorbent 20 stored in the pressurizing device 10, adsorption/exhaust structures 22, 24 for sending the indoor air into the pressurizing device 10 and returning the air to the indoor from the pressurizing device 10. The indoor air sucked into the pressurizing device 10 is pressurized and carbon dioxide gas therein is adsorbed to the carbon dioxide gas adsorbent 20. Then the pressure is restored rapidly to normal pressure level. Most of the carbon dioxide gas remains adsorbed in the adsorbent 20. Further, the air free from carbon dioxide is returned to the indoor. Thus, the carbon dioxide gas is removed from the indoor air by repeating the pressurized carbon dioxide gas adsorption and depressurization cycle.</p> |
