<p>PURPOSE: To improve an overhead transmission line of multilayer stranded structure which prevents snow accretion by stranding a magnetic body metal element wire into a current-carrying stranded wire layer, and heating the element wire by an eddy current loss or hysteresis loss to prevent a conductive element wire from being excessively nicked, and also enhance the snowing preventing effect. CONSTITUTION: Magnetic body metal element wires 2, 3 are stranded into a plurality of current-carrying stranded wire layers formed by twisting hard aluminium element wires 1. The diameter of the magnetic body metal element wire 3 on the most outside stranded wire layer is set smaller than the hard aluminium element wire 1, so that a side pressure is never added to the element wire 3. Further, the twisting direction of each stranded wire layer is alternately reversed to successively cross the magnetic body metal element wires 2, 3, whereby a mesh magnetic closed circuit having high heating efficiency is formed.</p> |
