<p>PURPOSE: To shorten the time required for the automatic correcting operation of a clock and to optimize the number of correcting times. CONSTITUTION: A microcomputer 5 controls a tuner 1 to receive the transmission of a time signal from the NHK and detects an error between the clock on the VTR side constituted of the microcomputer 5 and the received time signal so as to automatically correct the incorrectness of the clock on the VTR side according to the transmitted time signal. The automatic correcting operation of the clock is performed from a time before the time when the time signal should be obtained by a clock means and the time decided based on the sum of the error between the clock and the time signal and the previously set time in the case of correction, and the microcomputer 5 sets the number of times of the automatic correcting operation of the clock in accordance with the amount of the error.</p> |
