The figure gives the circuit of a switching power pack with a power section that converts an input voltage Ue of 100 to 400 V, derived from the mains supply and rectified, into an output voltage Ua by means of a transformer. The input voltage is vibrated by a MOSFET (T). The output voltage, after rectification by the unit (D2) and smoothed by the condenser (C2), is passed to the control section (ST) that controls the MOSFET by means of a pulse-width modulator.
