The oscillation sensor pressure sleeve (2) has a bearing surface (3) and a central bore (12) for securing it to the oscillating component, with an axially biased detection device (6) on the outside of the sleeve. A screw ring (20) on the outside of the sleeve acts as a stop for a spring (8) acting on a seismic mass (7) positioned above the detection device, which is supported by a stop edge (13) at the bearing end of the pressure sleeve, the whole enclosed by an injection moulded plastics housing (1).
