PURPOSE: To obtain a phthalocyanine composition suitable for making a photoreceptor with highγcharacteristics. CONSTITUTION: This composition is one containing at least 50mol% titanyl phthalocyanine and showing Bragg angles (2θ±0.02 deg.) of 7.0 deg., 7.6 deg., 9.7 deg., 10.2 deg., 15.6 deg., 22.4 deg., 23.5 deg., 24.3 deg., 25.4 deg., 27.3 deg. and 28.6 deg. in the X-ray spectrum.
