The machine comprises frame supporting paired tools formed as clamp arms pivotable around axes parallel with rail longitudinal direction. The clamp arms are formed with their lower ends so that when the clip is fitted they press it downwards against the rail foot and on dismantling they draw it outwards from the foot. - The clamp arms are activated by a hydraulic cylinder, whereby they can be made to move towards each other on fitting the clip and away from each other when the clip is dismantled. The tool clamp arms have hook-shaped additional components for dismantling clips.(Dwg.7)
