<p>PURPOSE: To provide an air drying apparatus wherein dried air can be formed by removing steam in the air. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of non-porous hollow fiber gas separating membranes 7 are arranged in a gas separating chamber 1a in a housing 4 and each gas separating membrane 7 is supported in the housing 4 in such a way that one end part and another end part are respecitvely supported by headers 5 and 6. The outside of the header 5 is a purge gas evacuating chamber 8 and the outside of the header 6 is a purge gas inlet chamber 9. A raw material gas feeding port 11 being communicated with a gas separating chamber 1a for feeding a raw material gas into the gas separating chamber 1a is formed in the housing 4 and a dried gas evacuating port 12 being communicated with the gas separating chamber 1a for making the dried gas flow out is also formed in the housing 4. The dry air in the gas separting chamber 1a is made flow into the gas separating membranes 7 through the purge gas inlet chamber 9.</p> |
