FIELD: instrumentation engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to instrumentation intended to analyze gases. It can find use in design of instruments and systems for detection of leakage of combustible gases. Process of manufacturing gas sensitive elements includes winding of thermally stable spiral and formation of gas sensitive layer on it by calcination. Gas sensitive layer is deposited after winding of thermally stable spiral by method of electrophoresis from solution of γ oxide of aluminium, isoamylacetate, zirconium nitrate and methyl alcohol with following proportion of components, mass %: g oxide of aluminium, 5.0-5.5; indium oxide, 48.0-50.0; isoamylacetate, 22.0-23.0; zirconium nitrate, 0.5-0.8; methyl alcohol, 22.0-24.0.
