Chlorine dioxide soln. is mfd. by mixing and reacting hydrochloric acid with sodium chlorite soln. in a reaction chamber. The addn. quantity and/or concn. of the 2 solns. being added, is regulated by the concn. of chlorine dioxide measured in the soln. downstream from the reaction chamber. Also claimed is an appts. for carrying out the reaction in the above manner.
