Gripper tool for rocks

The gripper tool has pincer-like grippers which have corrugated sheet-metal cheeks (5) with a predetermined sheet-metal thickness (D). The inside of the cheeks in the gripping area is coated with rubber or plastics forming a flat gripping surface (7). The troughs and peaks of adjoining grippers are offset relative to each other. The rubber or plastics coatings (6) are vulcanised or stuck onto the metal cheeks. The gripper faces (7) of the coatings can be formed as polished faces.
