PURPOSE:To simplify a press adjusting work by judging each operation position of a press based on the electric signals transmitted from a power source device, clutch and rotary encoder and properly holding the rod side pressure of a cylinder. CONSTITUTION:An air feeding passage 29 and air exhausting passage 31 are respectively arranged in the rod side air chamber 18 of a counter balance cylinder 16. Moreover a pressure gage 32 and the pressure setter 34 of the air chamber 18 are provided and the control device 33 changing solenoid valves 28, 38 based on the signal from a control power source 26, clutch 8 and rotary encoder 14 is arranged as well. In case of changing dies 12, 13 the pressure So of the air chamber 18 of the case of the die 12 being at the reference position is set in advance, thereafter, the control device 33 judges the operation position of a press based on each signal and holds to the optimum pressure the pressure inside the air chamber 18 as well. Consequently the adjusting work accompanied by a die change is simplified. |
