PURPOSE:To perform rapid disengagement of a lockup clutch without newly mounting a hydraulic actuator for a bypass liquid passage. CONSTITUTION:A bypass liquid passage 6 is installed in a branched state at a liquid passage 33 through which working liquid in a converter chamber 22 is discharged and an on-off control valve 7 to open and close the bypass liquid passage 6 is provided. When working liquid in the converter chamber 22 is discharged by a hydraulic actuator 8 by opening the liquid passage 33 by a lockup control valve 4, the bypass liquid passage 6 is opened by controlling the on-off control valve 7 by the hydraulic actuator 8 for a lockup control valve. |
