PURPOSE:To provide a discount processing system capable of efficiently selling commodities as the result of giving a purchasing desire to consumers by successively informing them of the actual transaction price of commodities and capable of obtaining maximum profit as the result of efficiently deciding a discount rate based on transaction information of the day, past transaction information and weather information of the day, etc., concerning each commodity at the time of discounting commodities. CONSTITUTION:This automatic discount processing system consists of a host computer 10, plural POS terminals 20, a discount information display device 30 displaying a transaction price, a discount amount and the discount rate. The host computer 10 automatically calculates the transaction price, the discount amount and the discount rate which maximizes the sales amount and the rough profit rate of a store based on weather information of the day, a past transaction result and transaction information of the day and transmits the piece of information to a discount information display device 30 installed on the floor of the store so as to display. |
