The valve seat plate (1) has a cylindrical recess (3) in which a component has form locking fixture. One wall (4) of the recess has a 'snap onto' projection (6) which is formed via a punching process. The projection is located axially spaced from one front face (5) and from the base (7). In the direction of the front face it has an inclination around the circumference, and has a curved triangular cross-section.
