PURPOSE:To easily output the business forms without producing any exclusive extraction program for each business form in regard to a method which extracts the necessary one of those data stored in one or plural input files and then outputs a business form of a designated format. CONSTITUTION:This method/device includes an extraction processing means 11 which extracts data out of an input file FI and stores them in an intermediate file 22, and a parameter file 23 which stores an extraction parameter PM to be referred to for execution of the extraction processing. Then the information on items, the information on the data acquiring ways and the information on the formats which are inputted for a business form TH are recorded in a business form control table 25. The parameters PM are generated for each file FI based on the contents of the table 25 and the structure information on the file FI. Then the data are extracted out of the file FI based on the parameter PM and stored in the file 22, and the form TH is outputted based on the data stored in the file 22. |
