PURPOSE:To obtain a resin composition which is excellent in all of shock resistance, fluidity, and heat shock resistance by a method wherein raw materials having respective specific amounts of thermoplastic polyester resin, elastomer, and reinforcing fiber as main components are melted to be mixed by a different direction rotary type double-screw extruder. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic polyester composition is prepared by melting and kneading raw materials of 97-35 pts.wt. of thermoplastic polyester resin, 3-20 pts.wt. of elastomer, and 0-45 pts.wt. of reinforcing fiber as main components by a different direction rotary type double-screw extruder. Then, when the thermoplastic polyester composition is prepared, in order to disperse and mix elastomer in fine particles in the polyester resin, a rotor is preferably used at a kneading part of the extruder, especially at the first kneading part of a zone wherein the polyester resin and the elastomer are firstly kneaded. A mixture melted and kneaded thus, is molded by being extruded from an extruding die, and recovered as a resin composition according to normal method. |
