PURPOSE:To provide an electronic musical instrument where the input operation of numerical information of many digits is performed with a small number of parts without using a display device for numerical display. CONSTITUTION:The electronic musical instrument is provided with a numerical input means like ten keys for input of one-digit numerical information, a timer means which measures a prescribed grace period for next digit input, a display means, a flickering means which flickers the display means, and a control means. When numerical information of the first digit is inputted from the numerical input means, this control means starts the timer means and the flickering means; and the control means recognizes the input of the second digit if numerical information is inputted before the timer shows the expiration of the grace period for next digit input, but the control means recognizes that the input operation is terminated with one digit if the timer shows this expiration before input of numerical information. |
