PURPOSE:To allow highly accurate measurement over the entire range of fluores cent concentration by computing the fluorescent concentration according to a specific formula based on the intensity of fluorescence emitted from a sample material. CONSTITUTION:The exciting light from a light source 20 is demarcated on the optical path in an electrophoretic pattern 23 on an indicator 22 and projected onto a sample material subjected to fluorescent dyeing. The sample material absorbs the exciting light and emits fluorescent light which is converted into an electric signal, representative of a relative intensity of fluorescence, by means of a sensor 24. The electric signal is amplified 26 and converted 28 into a digital data, i.e., a detection signal of fluorescent intensity, which is stored in a memory 30 and eventually delivered to a data processing section 16. A CPU 3 operates the concentration X of the sample material from input information according to a formula (where, If is the intensity of fluorescent light emitted from the sample material, K is a constant of the equipment, and (b) is a proportional coefficient) under control of a controller 36. This equipment realizes a positive analysis of fluorescent concentration. |
