PURPOSE:To improve shelf stability under high humidity while maintaining high image quality and high film hardness by using a specific film hardener. CONSTITUTION:A core/shell type silver halide emulsion and a compd. which releases a diffusive development suppressing group by reacting with the oxidant of a color developing agent are incorporated into a green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and at least one kind either of the film hardener expressed by the formula (I) or (II) is incorporated into at least one layer of the silver halide emulsion layer or hydrophilic colloid layer except the green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer.The triazine film hardener expressed by the formula (I) or (II) is used and such film hardener is not added to the green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer but is incorporated into at least one layer except said layer, by which the substantial film hardness is obtd. without spoiling the effects of the DIR compd. and core/shell type AgX. |
